Why settle for the traditional chips with your salsa dip? This fun appetizer is sure to be a hit with your game-day crowd.
Ingredients
1 – 0.8 packet of Mrs. Wages Classic Salsa®
1 – 16 oz. container of sour cream
8-10” flour tortillas
1 – 16 oz. can refried beans
2 cups Monterey jack and Colby mix cheese, shredded
1 cup fresh tomatoes, diced small
1 cup green onion, diced small
Preparation
- Combine contents of salsa mix and sour cream into a large mixing bowl. Stir well.
- Spread ¼ cup of refried beans on each tortilla, stopping ½ inch from the end.
- Spread ¼ cup sour cream on top of the bean layer.
- Sprinkle ¼ cup shredded cheese on sour cream layer and top with 1 Tbsp each diced tomatoes and onions.
- Roll tortilla tightly and place on a flat surface, seal side down.
- Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and chill in refrigerator at least 30 minutes or up to 8 hours.
- Just before service, remove tortilla rollups from plastic wrap.
- Using serrated knife, slice ½ inch coins.
- Lie coins flat, with sides touching on a serving platter.
- Makes 8 rollups.
